Soy sauce
Japanese, or Tamari

Brown sugar
or white

Garlic
fresh, minced

Ginger
fresh, minced

Mirin

Cornstarch
mixed in 3 the water

Water
Instructions
Simmer ingredients in a saucepan for 5 minutes.
Remove from heat and let cool. Strain.
Store in the fridge for up to a month.
